As you can see this is an extremely large project and that is why every site in this webring , including the front site, will accept registrations from members wishing to contribute to these pages.
To those that may not know, this part of the site & sub sites are run using Wordpress blogging software. It gives us the ability to control membership & oversee new posts & articles, without being too intrusive or restricting to our members.
The Purpose Of This Site
Well we would have to say that the main purpose is to provide information on many different aspects of the Philippines. There are at present around 52 map pages in our Map-Index , there is our new Forum, where members can discuss important issues, ask questions, get answers & even make some new friends along the way. There are currently another 16 city sites that waiting to be added to the main site & there will be room to add all 120 Philippine cities if the demand is there.
We all know that tourism is very important to the the country, it brings much needed revenue & can in many circumstances, provide much needed jobs also. Therefore this site has been designed in such a way as to allow members to help promote their own cities & regions throughout the Philippines. This we hope will help boost tourism by providing much needed information & also help to bring the Philippines more into the lime light as it were.

No! your ok, we are not asking for money hahaha. What we would like though is for people from the different cities & regions of the Philippines to help promote their own cities, tell the world what attractions are there in your cities, show some photos of beauty spots, beach resorts etc or just post some news from your area and let us know what is happening in your neck of the Philippines !
We know that to many of you , the sight of a palm fringed white sand beaches with turquoise blue crytal clear water is an everyday sight & probably to you it is nothing special ! But as an expat living here in the Philippines with my wife & son, I can assure you that 99% of foreigners would have a totally different viewpoint. Because you grow up seeing such things every day of your lives, you become sanitized to it & it no longer holds any special appeal. But believe me, show your paradise to the world & watch your tourism take off.
That will not just benefit your country, but also your cities & the people that work there.
