Welcome To The Philippines Virtual Guide
Let me just spend a few moments explaining the different features of this website & how to use them.
Ok first of all, this website is called Philippines Virtual Guide, it comprises of not just the main site, but also our ”Living In The Philippines” Forum. Not all pages have been added at the moment, but work is ongoing to continue adding more & to create a vast pool of information covering many different aspects of the Philippines.
Menu Bar
Along the top of the page you will notice a menu bar with various headings, these are pages of information categorized by each heading & are intended to help give you a little background on the Philippines & also the people that live here.
Side Bar
To the right you will notice the sidebar,
this has a drop down list of categories to posts, clicking on a “Category” will open all posts within that category.
Below categories, there is “Recent Posts” this lists the 10 most recent posts irrespective of their category.
Please select the category “Members Pages” to see an example of how posts, pages, articles & adverts are displayed on these pages.
If you scroll a little lower, there are Links & Site Links etc;
City Links will take you to additional City Virtual Guide sites, where the information & any advertisments will be specific to that city & the surrounding area.
Site Links are for links within this particular website eg. the Living in The Philippines Forum , our Philippine Map Index & of course the link to the main site Philippines Virtual Guide. There are also links to special pages for Advertisers, Contributors & Partners. We are also discussing the possibility that we may add a Chat program to this site in the near future, so that link would also be placed here.
